Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as primary legal counsel to development teams on energy projects from inception through construction
• Negotiate and draft development agreements: EPC, procurement, offtake, interconnection
• Provide counsel on regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely project execution
• Support day-to-day legal needs: asset management, disputes, contract administration
• Adapt to new asset types including digital infrastructure and large-load projects

🎯 Requirements

• JD from accredited law school and active bar membership; ~4–8 years of experience
• Experience with energy project development, EPC, procurement, and offtake agreements
• Familiarity with permitting, interconnection, and energy regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Behind-the-meter power project experience is a plus; digital infrastructure is nice-to-have but not required
• Strong attention to detail, drafting instincts, and interpersonal skills across teams
• Collaborative, with strong judgment under ambiguity
