- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (clinical studies, MTAs, vendor, licenses, NDAs).
- Review and approve clinical study consent forms and marketing materials.
- Advise internal clients on legal/compliance, incl. international operations and GDPR.
- Manage heavy workflow; set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Train and monitor compliance with Legal Department policies.
- Liaise with internal clients; respond to inquiries; contribute to playbook.
🎯 Requirements
- JD from top-tier law school.
- 5+ years in commercial contracts and corporate practice; 3+ years at a major firm; in-house a plus.
- Experience advising clients in biotech, life science and/or healthcare.
- Member of California Bar or eligible for in-house counsel.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating and finalizing complex contracts with minimal supervision.
- Experience in healthcare transactions, clinical study agreements, GDPR, payor agreements, and cross-border deals.
