- Counsel internal clients on nationwide employment matters, incl wage/hour, accommodations, investigations.
- Draft, review, and provide guidance on employment and HR policies and procedures.
- Advise on the defense of lawsuits and charges; provide cost-benefit risk analysis and dispute resolution options.
- Monitor developments in employment and wage/hour laws; assess risks and advise business units.
- Provide timely, business-focused advice to compliance, HR, marketing, and IT to meet objectives and mitigate risks.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Must be admitted to the State Bar of California in good standing.
- JD from ABA-accredited law school.
- 5+ years' experience in employment and wage/hour matters.
- Strong research and project management/implementation skills.
- Experience in healthcare, staffing, or services industry a plus.
- Preferred prior experience at a mid-to-large law firm or in-house.
