📋 Description

• Oversee lifecycle of Okta IP assets aligned with business goals.
• Refine and execute offensive/defensive IP strategies for edge.
• Advise on IP risks and emerging legal trends.
• Translate IP concepts into business-focused guidance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP provisions in contracts and licenses.
• Conduct IP due diligence for potential acquisitions.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Bar.
• Undergraduate or graduate CS/EE/CE degree; USPTO Patent Attorney.
• 5+ years IP experience, including software patent prosecution.
• Experience with SaaS/cloud software; patent drafting/prosecution.
• Ability to translate complex IP into business-focused guidance.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and independent work.
