• Manage Okta's IP assets lifecycle aligned with goals.
• Develop and execute offensive/defensive IP strategies.
• Advise on IP risks and emerging legal trends.
• Translate IP concepts into business-focused guidance.
• Lead invention disclosures and patent incentive processes.
• Support IP transactions, licensing and related matters.

🎯 Requirements

• JD from accredited law school; active Bar membership.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• USPTO Registered Patent Attorney.
• 5+ years IP experience, incl software patent prosecution.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud software; IP strategy.
• Builder mindset; thrives in fast-paced environments; balances legal analysis with business needs.
