Corporate Counsel, Commercial

📋 Description

• Advise global sales teams on transactional matters for Axon’s products.
• Structure, review, and negotiate contracts for goods, services, and SaaS.
• Supervise Contracts Managers and enforce risk levels via playbooks.
• Lead and evolve contracting processes to scale the legal team.
• Provide other legal advice including regulatory matters as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys, contracts managers and admins to grow the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate high-volume contracts (SaaS, hardware, services).
• Experience negotiating IP licensing and ownership agreements.
• Ability to act with urgency on all requests.
• Pass-first attitude with a desire to train and mentor others.
• JD and member in good standing with at least one US state bar.
