Corporate Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, negotiate MSAs, SaaS, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Partner with Sales, Client Success, and leadership to move deals forward.
• Advise on contract terms, risks, and tradeoffs for business impact.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, fallback language, and playbooks.
• Support privacy, employment, and general compliance efforts.
• Serve as primary legal partner to the business; guide risk decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (multi-state preferred).
• 8–12 years of legal experience, with strong SaaS/tech contracting.
• Experience in high-growth startups; able to operate as solo or first legal hire.
• Global legal/compliance experience or managing outside counsel; strong business judgment.
• Hands-on, strategic thinker; able to balance risk with growth.
• Nice-to-have: privacy/security (GDPR, CCPA); fintech or regulated industries; international expansion.
