Overview

CoreWeave is seeking a Solutions Architect focused on storage architectures to design, implement, and optimize scalable, high-performance storage solutions for cloud workloads. This full-time role collaborates with platform engineers, software developers, and customers to deliver reliable, cost-efficient storage across multiple US locations.

Responsibilities

Lead storage architecture design for on-prem and cloud-native workloads
Evaluate storage technologies (object, block, file, and software-defined storage)
Define data retention, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization strategies
Collaborate with engineers to implement storage solutions in Kubernetes and cloud environments
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Create reference architectures, whitepapers, and runbooks
Engage with customers to translate requirements into scalable designs
Help manage storage-related costs and optimization

Requirements

8+ years in storage architecture, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems
Deep knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB, S3-compatible), object storage, and file systems
Experience with Linux-based environments and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to design for both internal teams and customers
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field; MS preferred
