Overview
CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Metal Dev team to design, implement, and optimize graphics and GPU compute software using Apple's Metal API. This on-site role supports multiple U.S. offices: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; Bellevue, WA.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Metal-based graphics and compute workloads
- Collaborate with graphics, systems, and engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions
- Profile and optimize CPU/GPU performance, identify bottlenecks, and ship robust components
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C++ and GPU programming
- Extensive experience with Apple's Metal API and graphics/compute optimization
- Ability to deliver scalable, maintainable software in a fast-paced environment
