Senior Engineer II, Storage at CoreWeave

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, high-performance storage infrastructure for a GPU-focused cloud platform. You will work with distributed storage systems, Linux, and containerized workloads to deliver reliable data services for compute workloads.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable storage solutions for large-scale GPU workloads
Optimize I/O performance and latency, implement data replication, backup, and disaster recovery
Develop automation and tooling using Python, C++, or Go
Collaborate with platform, SRE, and GPU teams to integrate storage with compute fabric
On-call participation and incident response
Document architecture and provide mentoring

Qualifications

5+ years in storage engineering, distributed storage, or similar
Strong experience with Linux systems and kernel I/O
Proficiency in C++ and/or Python; experience with Go is a plus
Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with distributed storage systems (Ceph, Lustre, or similar) is a plus
B.S. in Computer Science or related field; M.S. preferred
