Role: Senior Engineer, Compute Services (Kubernetes, Bare Metal)

CoreWeave is seeking a senior engineer to design, build, and operate compute services on our Kubernetes-based platform running on bare metal hardware. You will help scale a GPU-accelerated cloud infrastructure, improve reliability and performance, and collaborate with SRE and Platform teams to deliver production-grade systems.

Responsibilities

Design and implement compute service components for Kubernetes on bare metal hardware.
Provision, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters across bare metal infrastructure.
Automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting; optimize performance and reliability.
Collaborate with SRE, Platform, and product teams to deliver production-grade systems.
Participate in capacity planning and security best practices.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster operations, networking, and orchestration).
Proven experience with bare metal provisioning and hardware management.
Strong Linux/Unix systems engineering background.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Python.
Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Location

Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; Bellevue, WA. On-site role at multiple US offices.
