Senior Counsel, Real Estate, Construction & Development

Job Description

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Counsel specializing in Real Estate, Construction & Development to support its growing real estate portfolio and development initiatives. This role will provide strategic legal guidance on real estate transactions, leases, development agreements, and related regulatory matters across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and negotiate real estate leases, purchase agreements, and related documents for commercial real estate acquisitions and development projects.
• Provide legal counsel on construction contracts, permits, and development approvals; manage risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with real estate, development, finance, and business teams to support growth initiatives and site acquisitions.
• Perform due diligence for real estate transactions and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Advise on corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance related to real estate activities.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with substantial experience in real estate law, construction law, and development.
• Proven track record negotiating and drafting complex leases, acquisition documents, and development agreements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, permits, and compliance related to real estate and construction projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
