Overview
CoreWeave is seeking a Global Privacy Compliance Lead to design and run our privacy program across our cloud computing platform. You will partner with engineering, security, product, and legal teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global privacy laws as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of CoreWeave's privacy program, including data inventory, processing activities, DPIAs, DSAR workflows, and incident response.
- Manage cross-border data transfers, vendor privacy controls, and data protection agreements; coordinate with legal and security teams on privacy risk management.
- Advise product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design, data minimization, retention schedules, and data subject rights handling.
- Monitor regulatory changes globally; draft and update privacy policies, training materials, and governance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
- Lead training and awareness initiatives on privacy programs across the organization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in privacy/compliance, preferably in tech/cloud environments.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and cross-border data transfer mechanisms; experience with privacy frameworks.
- Experience building and maturing privacy programs, data mapping, DPIAs, DSARs, and vendor risk management.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence cross-functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree; privacy certifications (CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT) preferred.
