CoreWeave, a leading GPU-accelerated cloud provider, is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to shape the technical strategy and drive the architecture of our core platform and GPU infrastructure. This role is ideal for a senior leader who can translate ambitious product goals into scalable, reliable systems.

Role

As a Distinguished Engineer, you will own the technical roadmap, influence product direction, and lead critical initiatives across teams to deliver robust, high-performance services.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the architectural vision for the platform and GPU virtualization.
• Lead design reviews and drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to production.
• Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and help scale operations for a rapidly growing cloud service.
• Collaborate with product, security, reliability, and customer engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Champion performance optimization for GPU workloads and multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, systems, or HPC with a track record of leading large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in GPU compute ecosystems (NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA) and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, and C++, with strong systems programming and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux, virtualization, and automation tooling.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven record of mentoring teams and influencing product direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU virtualization, driver stacks, or GPU scheduling in data centers.
• Familiarity with HPC workflows, distributed storage, and networking for large-scale GPU deployments.
