Director of Engineering Recruiting

Overview

CoreWeave is seeking a Director of Engineering Recruiting to lead the engineering recruiting function. In this leadership role you will design and execute the talent strategy for software, systems, and infrastructure engineers, partner with senior engineering leaders, and scale CoreWeave’s ability to attract and hire top technical talent. You will manage recruiters, build scalable sourcing and assessment processes, improve candidate experience, and champion diversity and inclusion across the recruiting lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering recruiting team to align with CoreWeave’s technical hiring needs.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to define talent strategy and workforce planning.
• Develop scalable sourcing, screening, and interview processes to improve time-to-fill and candidate quality.
• Champion a positive candidate experience and inclusive hiring practices.
• Build and manage pipelines for critical software, systems, and infrastructure roles.
• Track recruiting metrics and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technical recruiting for engineering organizations, preferably at fast-growing tech companies.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience designing and implementing recruiting programs and processes.
• Ability to understand engineering roles and technologies to assess fit.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
