CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician in Reno, NV to join our hardware operations team. This on-site role supports the uptime and reliability of our GPU-accelerated data center infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical servers and related infrastructure within our Reno data center.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cabling, and maintain server hardware and GPU nodes
• Monitor and maintain data center environment (power, cooling, cabling)
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with operations and network teams to ensure uptime
• Document changes and maintain asset inventory

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Experience with server hardware, racking, and basic IPMI
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows server administration
• Ability to lift and move hardware, work in a data center environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with GPUs, data center power distribution, and cooling systems
• Networking basics and cable management
• Interest in high-performance computing or cloud infrastructure
