Role Overview
CoreWeave is seeking an Associate General Counsel to oversee global data center supply contracts and related legal matters. This role will lead negotiations for supply agreements with hyperscale and enterprise partners, advise on regulatory and privacy compliance, data security, and cross-border issues, and collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate data center supply, procurement, and vendor contracts, including SLAs and related commercial terms.
- Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, export controls, and data protection across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with procurement, product, engineering, and operations teams to scale legal operations for a fast-growing organization.
- Manage outside counsel, budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient handling of matters.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks in global data center initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to at least one U.S. state bar.
- 5+ years of experience in technology contracts, data centers, or procurement, either in-house or in private practice.
- Strong contract negotiation, drafting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Solid knowledge of privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and export control laws; experience with cross-border transactions.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred
- Experience with hyperscale cloud providers or large-scale data-center operations.
