Application Security Engineer

Overview

CoreWeave is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our security team and help safeguard our cloud-based GPU computing platform. This is a full-time on-site role working with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain secure software and infrastructure across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform security reviews of applications and APIs and participate in threat modeling.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments (static and dynamic) and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Help design and implement secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and security tooling.
• Develop and automate security controls within CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Stay current with security trends, best practices, and incident response processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on application security experience.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and modern secure coding practices.
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools, threat modeling, and secure software design.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and secure cloud architectures.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work across multiple teams.
