The Role
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
Responsible for creating innovative solutions that save time for IT department.
This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across our organization, as well as improving and changing the current infrastructure.
Responsibilities: Active Directory and Azure Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Azure Active Directory integration.VMware Infrastructure: Administer VMware vSphere across multiple environments and sites, including cluster/host operations, ESXi lifecycle, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.Horizon: Manage Horizon VDI infrastructure: connection servers, pools, golden images, Blast/PCoIP troubleshooting, and VDI lifecycle tasks.Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer the Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Ensure system health, permissions, mail flow, and collaboration stability.Citrix Administration: Administer Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments, including delivery groups, catalogs, virtual desktop performance, and application/desktop publishing.Storage Administration: Manage and optimize storage platforms (NetApp or Pure Storage). Oversee volumes, performance, snapshots, availability, and data integrity.Project Management: Lead and coordinate IT projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and implementations ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and requirements.Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency across the IT environment.Okta Administration(Advantage): Oversee Okta identity and access management system, including user provisioning, authentication policies, and application integrations.Firewalls and Switches Configuration (Advantage): Configure and maintain Palo Alto or Forti firewall rules, VPNs, and network switches to ensure security and optimize network performance. Requirements: 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar position.Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, VMware, Microsoft 365, Citrix, Horizon, and storage systems (NetApp/Pure).Experience managing enterprise infrastructure across multiple environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting tools (preferred).Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, CCNA) - Advantage.
