Controller (Contractor)

📋 Description

• Own accounting function end-to-end during FY2025 audit prep.
• Sole internal accounting resource; report to Director of Finance.
• Turnkey bookkeeping, month-end close, and year-end cleanup.
• Build internal controls to scale the finance function.
• Coordinate with external auditors through fieldwork.
• Apply ASC 606/718/842 to year-end accounting.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required.
• 8–12 years progressive accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Direct experience supporting or leading a financial statement audit.
• Able to own month-end close process independently.
• Familiar with SaaS/subscription revenue accounting and ASC 606/718/842.
• QuickBooks Online proficiency; Gusto, Ramp, or Chargebee a plus.
