📋 Description

• Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close; ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Build reporting infrastructure for leadership with clear, timely visibility
• Lead audits and ensure audit readiness; manage auditor relationships
• Own funds flow accounting and reconciliations across payment systems
• Design and implement scalable accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required
• 7-12 years of progressive accounting, including Big 4 and high-growth VC-backed company
• Experience building processes and controls in a scaling environment
• Deep US GAAP knowledge, incl revenue recognition and equity compensation
• Operate independently while partnering with leadership on complex areas
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Experience at SaaS FinTech GovTech or similar compliance-heavy scaling environment
• Familiarity with trust accounts, public funds, or other regulated fund environments
