- Oversee external accounting team (AR/AP, month-end close) for accuracy and timelines.
- Prepare/post adjusting entries and accruals; own GL and chart of accounts.
- Own the month-end close process; coordinate with external team; ensure timely close.
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and reporting packages.
- Maintain SaaS/ARR reporting; track revenue metrics per ASC 606.
- Own payroll processing and reconciliation; ensure timely payroll runs.
🎯 Requirements
- CPA required
- 5–8 years accounting experience; public/private mix a strong plus
- Deep technical accounting: GL, accruals, reconciliations, payroll, FS prep
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS startup with ARR/MRR and ASC 606 a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Enterprise; migrations/optimizations a bonus
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership; operate in a lean environment
