Team Lead - DevOps at Contentstack

Contentstack is seeking a skilled Team Lead - DevOps to lead our DevOps team and drive infrastructure, automation, and cloud operations for Contentstack's platform. This senior, hands-on leadership role requires deep experience with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and continuous delivery practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps team focused on reliability, scalability, and security of production systems.
Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code across cloud providers.
Architect and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define deployment strategies and release plans.
Define standards for security, performance, and cost optimization across the stack.

Requirements

5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with proven leadership capabilities.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker).
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Linux system administration.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Nice to have

Experience with Contentstack or headless CMS is a plus.
Security best practices and cost governance experience.
