Software Engineer I

Overview

Contentstack is looking for a Software Engineer I to join our engineering team in Virar. In this entry-level role, you will contribute to building scalable content management solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. You will learn our codebase, write clean code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated tests and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for Contentstack's platform using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to implement robust solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to automated tests and monitor software quality.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug, and continuously improve performance.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java).
• Understanding of web technologies (APIs, frontend and backend concepts).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; eager to learn.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
