Contentstack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II / I to join our engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to scalable and reliable software solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, well-documented code; participate in code reviews and maintainability efforts.
• Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability and uptime.

What you should have

• Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa) and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
