Overview
Contentstack is seeking a Senior Engineer I - DevOps to join our team in Chennai. In this role you will design, implement, and operate scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support Contentstack's product platform. You will collaborate with software engineers to improve reliability, performance, and automation across our cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Manage cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Build and operate infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, ensure security and compliance
- Collaborate with software engineers, release managers, and on-call rotation
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Linux experience; scripting in Bash and/or Python
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
