Role Overview
Contentstack is seeking a Principal Engineer - QA (Automation, Selenium, Java) to lead quality engineering for our content management platform. This senior role defines the test strategy, builds scalable automation frameworks, and mentors a team of QA engineers. You will work closely with product, engineering, and DevOps to deliver robust, high-quality software and seamless CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end test strategy and quality roadmap for the platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to ship reliable releases.
- Mentor and grow a team of QA engineers; review test plans and results.
- Own automated test coverage, CI/CD integration, and performance testing where applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
- Strong proficiency with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with test frameworks (JUnit/TestNG), and building robust automation architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
