Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-level Machine Learning Engineer II to join our team in Chennai on a Hybrid work arrangement. You will design, implement, and deploy scalable machine learning solutions that enhance content discovery, personalization, and automation within Contentstack’s platform. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to bring ML-powered features to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable ML models and data pipelines to power platform features.
• Experiment with feature engineering, model evaluation metrics, and A/B testing; iterate based on results.
• Operationalize models with MLOps practices, including monitoring, logging, and CI/CD for models.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to integrate ML features into the product.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests and documentation; mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Stay updated on ML research and industry best practices to inform product decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on ML experience with end-to-end model development and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with data processing and orchestration tools (SQL, Spark, Airflow or equivalents).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
