Lead Financial Planning Analyst

Overview

Contentstack is seeking a Lead Financial Planning Analyst to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support the company's growth in a dynamic technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for the business units.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Perform variance analysis, scenario planning, and driver-based forecasting for strategic decision making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Product) to provide actionable financial insights to executives.
• Prepare and present timely management reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
• Drive FP&A tooling improvements and standardization of processes (Excel, SQL, BI tools).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of FP&A experience, preferably in a tech/software environment.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills; advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
