About the role

As a Senior Solution Engineer for Strategic Accounts, you will partner with the sales organization to drive adoption of Contentful within our most strategic customers. You will be a technical advisor, architect solutions, and deliver compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to show how Contentful can solve real business problems at scale.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer needs and map them to Contentful solutions
• Lead technical discovery, design end-to-end architectures, and present clear value propositions to executives and technical stakeholders
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and build proofs-of-concept that address strategic use cases
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate, compelling, and technically sound responses
• Collaborate with Product and Solutions Engineering teams to tailor solutions for large, complex environments
• Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle and assist with customer onboarding plans
• Gain and maintain deep knowledge of Contentful APIs, integrations, and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering, Field Engineering, or equivalent experience in enterprise software/SaaS
• Strong experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, and a solid understanding of how to architect content-driven applications
• Experience with headless CMS concepts and modern content platforms
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical, scalable technical solutions
• Willingness to travel as needed to support strategic accounts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience with Contentful or similar headless CMS platforms
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern DevOps practices
• Experience in enterprise sales environments and complex RFP processes
