Role Overview

As a Senior Demo Engineer in San Francisco, you will design and deliver compelling technical demonstrations of the Contentful platform to prospective customers, tailoring demos to complex use cases and collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to articulate the platform's value.

What you'll do

Lead and customize product demos for enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to map customer needs to Contentful capabilities.
Design and maintain robust demo environments and data sets.
Present to prospects, support RFPs, and respond to technical questions.
Gather feedback from customers to inform product improvements.
Stay current with Contentful APIs, SDKs, and best practices for demos.

What we're looking for

5+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a related field.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON, and modern web technologies.
Familiarity with Contentful or headless CMS architectures is a plus.
Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
