Role

Contentful is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to lead and grow our EMEA enterprise accounts. Based in London, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, build strategic account plans, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value to some of the world's leading brands.

What you'll do

  • Directly pursue and close new business with enterprise and strategic customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans, forecast accurately, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Lead discovery calls, tailor solutions using Contentful's content platform, and craft compelling business cases.
  • Collaborate with marketing, solution architects, and customer success to ensure successful deployments and ongoing expansion.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms; manage renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date pipeline in CRM and provide accurate reporting.

What you should bring

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS or digital content platform sales; Contentful experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of selling to enterprise-level accounts; strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of content management, headless CMS, digital experience platforms is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed.
