- Optimize images for performance, reproducibility, and reliability.
- Coordinate with platform teams on Kubernetes/GKE changes.
- Update Cloud Labs/workspace images pre-loaded with tools.
🎯 Requirements
- AWS and/or Azure data engineering platforms
- IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
- Dockerfiles, Makefiles, and shell scripts for data envs
- Kubernetes (GKE or equivalent) experience
- Cloud security and data governance (IAM, RBAC, encryption)
- Create/configure images for data workloads (AMIs, VM images)
- Linux system administration and package management
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Azure DevOps) a plus
