Consultant - Senior Power BI/Microsoft Fabric Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead development of BI security program for Power BI and Fabric.
• Define remediation playbooks and automate governance.
• Enforce security by default configurations for new BI assets.
• Monitor and enforce BI governance policies via automation.
• Identify gaps in legacy workspaces and drive remediation.
• Integrate BI controls into dashboards and telemetry pipelines.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, BI teams, owners.
• Use policy signals and runtime detection to manage BI security posture.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years securing and administering Power BI and/or Fabric at scale.
• Strong understanding of Power BI governance, access control, RBAC, and workspace lifecycle.
• Experience automating compliance and remediation via telemetry and runtime signals.
• Ability to produce risk aligned technical controls and implementation strategies.
• Familiarity with KPI control reporting systems and GRC integration.
• Bonus: Experience with Zenity or similar security automation tooling.
• This role is not a fit for BI developers without security governance ownership experience.
