Construction Project Manager, Starbase Development (Starship)

📋 Description

• Write and manage contracts across disciplines to close-out
• Perform scheduling, budgeting, quality control, logistics
• Manage multidisciplinary construction projects in admin and field
• Interact with contractors, designers, fabricators, internal customers
• Resolve field design/construction conflicts in real-time
• Oversee full project lifecycle for on-time, under-budget delivery
• Manage project tools and folder systems
• Provide budget estimates from the preliminary scope
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers and contractors
• Develop final cost and schedule; implement controls
• Review technical submittals
• Facilitate city, county, and governmental approvals
• Coordinate project implementation and track status
• Coordinate with end user and facilities for ops/maintenance
• Manage night shift contractors as project work requires
• Communicate with internal legal team on contractual disputes

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in construction management or engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction field
• Experience with project management and scheduling software
• Design experience in a technical field
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of permitting and environmental processes
• Understanding civil, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines
• Experience with estimating, cost control, and schedules
• Ability to read and review shop drawings and blueprints
• Able to adapt quickly in a high-urgency environment
• Self-motivated, independent and team player
• Valid driver’s license
• Occasional travel may be required
• Stand: Up to 6 hours per day
• Sit: Up to 3 hours per day
• Push/Pull: Up to 50 lbs (unassisted)
• Climb (ladder/stairs): Up to 1 hour per day
