Constellation Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Learn constellation architecture: spacecraft bus, flight software, ground network and control software.
• Operate satellites on orbit during LEOP and routine ops; respond to anomalies.
• Review telemetry and logs; investigate anomalies; file Jira maintenance tickets.
• Test virtual ground assets to validate ops concepts before on-orbit commands.
• Contribute to Python-based ops tooling for data trending and KPIs.
• Plan and execute customer requests and on-orbit tests to enable future capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical engineering field.
• Experience in an operations environment and familiarity with satellite systems.
• Strong teamwork, self-motivation; multitask ability; US-born citizen.
• Preferred: 3+ years space ops; subsystems expertise; automation; Linux; Jira/Confluence/GitHub; STK.
