Constellation Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Learn constellation architecture: spacecraft bus, flight software, ground network.
• Operate satellites on-console during launch and early operations.
• Investigate anomalies via telemetry and logs; triage with Jira tickets.
• Review data and system logs; monitor imaging and ground automation performance.
• Develop operation tooling in Python for data trending and metrics.
• Plan and execute customer requests and on-orbit tests; provide on-call support.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in relevant engineering or CS degree.
• At least 2 years in a technical engineering role.
• Experience in an operations environment (aerospace, energy, etc.).
• Familiarity with satellite systems and space environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivation; ability to handle concurrent tasks.
• Comfort in mission-critical environments, risk-based decisions.
• Must be a US-born citizen for ITAR.
