Technology & Architectural Strategy.

You’llset the long-term architectural direction for Conga’s SaaS platform, defining principles, standards, and a roadmap that aligns technology strategy with product and business goals.You’llevaluate emerging technologies and guide adoption where it creates real value, helping teams make informed decisions that scale.

This includes:

Defining andmaintainingthe enterprise architecture roadmap
Establishing architectural standards and best practices
Guiding technology strategy across product lines

Platform & System Architecture.

You’lllead the design of scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems that power Conga’s core platform. This includes ownership of high-level architecture for APIs, data pipelines, integration frameworks, identity management, and observability, while ensuring systems meet availability, performance, cost, and maintainability goals.

Leadership & Collaboration.

You’llmentor and lead a team of architects while partnering closely with engineering leaders tomaintainalignment across teams.You’llwork alongside product management to evaluate feasibility and define technical direction, and collaborate with security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensurearchitectures meetreliability and compliance requirements.

Governance, Security & Execution.

You’llguide architecture and design reviews, create reusablepatternsand reference architectures, and promote engineering quality through documentation and oversight.You’llalso ensurearchitectures supportstrong security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity, balancing innovation with pragmatic execution to meet delivery timelines.

Leadership & Mindset.

You’rea senior technology leader who knows how toseta clear architectural vision while staying grounded in execution. You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and guide teams through complex architectural decisions with clarity and confidence.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and understand how to balance innovation with stability as platforms scale.

RelatedExperience.

You bring deep technical and leadershipexperiencebuilding and evolving modern SaaS platforms.

12–15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in architecture leadership roles
Proven track record architecting scalable, cloud-native SaaS platforms
Experience leading enterprise-level modernization and architectural transformation efforts
Private Equity experience. You’veoperatedin a private equity–backed environment and understand the pace, rigor, and expectations that come with value creation, operational discipline, and scaling for growth.

Technical Expertise.

You have deepexpertisein distributed systems, microservices, API design, cloud infrastructure, and data architecture.You’reexperienced with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, and are comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on problem solving when needed.

In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-timeposition. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.
