We’re not just building better tech. We’re rewriting how data moves and what the world can do with it. With Confluent, data doesn’t sit still. Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them.

It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together.

One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.

About the Role:

As part of our rapid growth, we're seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager who excels in operational discipline and data-driven decisions, and has a deep passion for developing early-career sales talent. Your mission will be to cultivate an environment of collective achievement and fulfillment, with a strong focus on coaching and accountability. Your responsibilities will include optimizing our Inbound program to enhance lead conversions and efficiency, alongside driving initiatives that strengthen team cohesion.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of Inbound SDRs responsible for qualifying inbound leads and converting them into productive meetings and pipeline for our sales team

  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and coach SDRs, with a strong emphasis on attracting and retaining top talent

  • Enhance each team member's knowledge and skills related to sales, our products, and the industry, fostering their professional growth

  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve processes and structures, thereby increasing efficiency. This will involve collaborative efforts across different departments and stakeholders to implement necessary changes

  • Monitor and ensure that the team achieves its monthly and quarterly targets

  • Ensure the effective use of Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, and chatbots

What You Will Bring:

  • 1+ years of experience managing sales development team in a SaaS company

  • 1-3+ years experience in a closing, quota carrying role

  • Familiarity with or previously worked at a company in the Big Data/Open Source space

  • Proven track record of managing to core KPI’s

  • Success in overachieving quotas and targets

  • Ability to drive and manage cross-functional initiatives at scale

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and people management skills

Ready to build what's next? Let’s get in motion.
