- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, including preparation, dispensing, labeling.
- Plan weekly compounding items and assign tasks to technicians
- Maintain documentation for all compounding activities (batch sheets, logs)
- Conduct product and batch verification for quality control and patient safety
- Lead sterile compounding operations per USP 797
- Ensure cleanroom use and sanitation protocols, logs, calibration, and hazardous waste disposal
π― Requirements
- Active Florida Pharmacist license (required)
- Minimum 2 years in sterile compounding; non-sterile preferred
- Supervisory experience in compounding setting preferred
- Knowledge of GLP-1 compounding medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide) preferred
- Strong understanding of USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines
- Detail-oriented with robust quality control and documentation practices
