Compliance Operations Analyst

📋 Description

• Monitor anti-abuse signals, logs, and alerts to identify likely abuse and mitigate.
• Investigate and address abuse events; escalate for timely response and mitigation.
• Perform incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact; document timelines and actions.
• Generate and review reporting related to threat alerts and user log behavior.
• Partner with Engineering and Security to test signal tuning and learn Klaviyo’s sending infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Deliverability, Security, Customer Success, Support, Sales).

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical SaaS company, anti-abuse, trust & safety, or compliance operations role—preferably at an ESP or high-volume marketing provider.
• Data analysis proficiency; able to pull dashboards, review logs, and summarize findings; SQL or equivalent query experience preferred.
• AI fluency; understands how AI and automation are used in detection systems and workflows; comfortable using approved AI tools.
• Anti-abuse and fraud prevention tools—experience with Sift, Stripe Radar, or similar.
• Strong understanding of fraud/abuse landscapes, security protocols, and messaging compliance (email, SMS, privacy standards, and global regulations).
• Monitoring and alerting systems familiarity; log analysis and SIEM-style tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog) and ability to read system logs.
