Compliance Manager - Access Control & Gate Systems

📋 Description

• Review access control, gate operator, and low-voltage system designs for code compliance.
• Interpret local, state & federal codes and develop permitting strategies across jurisdictions.
• Become a subject matter expert on municipal codes and document requirements.
• Evaluate compliance for electrical hardware, gate safety devices, egress, and installations.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, inspections, and sales to embed compliance into planning and execution.
• Conduct final project compliance reviews to verify code and permit adherence.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-sufficient with independent decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Read/interpret drawings & specs; detail-oriented in documentation.
• Direct experience with Lenel/Genetec; access control and life-safety system design.
• Experience in permitting, compliance, or code enforcement for access control & low-voltage systems.
