Compliance Analyst, Transaction Monitoring

📋 Description

• Investigate flagged transactions and accounts; recommend SAR filings.
• Analyze alerts with Elliptic, TRM Labs, Unit21 to identify red flags.
• Monitor BitGo activity for red flags; review 314(b) inquiries, sanctions screening, escalations.
• Collaborate on risk rules, detection calibration, QA, and data analysis.
• Draft and update Financial Intelligence Unit procedures; AML training participation.
• Stay current on AML typologies and regulatory trends in digital assets.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years AML monitoring, investigations, and SAR reporting.
• 2+ years blockchain analytics tools experience (Elliptic, TRM Labs, Chainalysis); Reactor certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AML regulatory requirements.
• Strong investigative and analytical skills; ability to use multiple information sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent worker with time management and ability to navigate internal systems.
