CompanyCam is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on building scalable backend services and APIs, collaborating with product and frontend teams, and delivering high-quality software for our customers.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and scale Ruby on Rails applications
Design and implement RESTful APIs and data models
Optimize performance and reliability; implement caching and background jobs
Write tests (RSpec) and participate in test automation
Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams; participate in code reviews
Contribute to architecture decisions and documentation

Qualifications

3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
Strong PostgreSQL or relational database skills
Experience with RESTful API design and integration
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest)
Nice-to-have: Docker, AWS, Redis, background jobs (Sidekiq)
