  • Direct visitors and staff to destinations; connect clients to GLIDE resources.
  • Open/secure GLIDE facilities; monitor entry and exit.
  • De-escalate crises using crisis prevention techniques.
  • Intervene in emergencies; follow procedures and call 911 when needed.
  • Conduct hourly safety rounds; report hazards to management.
  • Support events and daily operations; assist with setup and cleanup.

🎯 Requirements

  • CPR and First Aid within 3 months of hire.
  • Crisis Prevention Certification within 3 months of hire.
  • High school diploma or GED; security, customer service, and mental health experience.
  • Experience in community-based social service serving homelessness/poverty; diverse populations.
  • Able to work in high-stress environments; strong conflict resolution; clear communication.
  • TB screening & vaccines; MS Office proficiency; DOJ/FYCC background clearance.
