Communications Intern, LATAM

📋 Description

• Support Brazil Communications on high-visibility initiatives shaping Airbnb’s reputation in LATAM.
• Organize media events, press trips, and reporter engagement with agencies.
• Track deliverables and campaign progress to ensure timely execution.
• Research new media contacts, influencers, and local outlets.
• Monitor trends in politics, arts, entertainment and travel to shape campaigns.
• Learn to build strategic communications plans reflecting Airbnb’s mission and local impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree or graduate program in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
• Bilingual in Portuguese and English (verbal and written fluency required).
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a passion for communications and media.
• Experience through coursework, internships, blogging, student publications, or relevant volunteer work.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (especially for presentations and content drafting).
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital communications metrics is a plus.
