- Plan and execute commissioning activities for assigned projects.
- Review drawings, specs, and sequences; provide field observations.
- Develop commissioning plan, schedule, and project documents (checklists, test forms, reports).
- Develop and execute functional performance tests for HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate commissioning with PMs, design teams, contractors, TAB agencies, and controls vendors.
- Witness startup, verify controls, log results, and drive corrective actions.
🎯 Requirements
- 4+ years in commissioning, HVAC design, or related field.
- Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering; ABET preferred; EIT/FE a plus.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS control sequences.
- Ability to read construction documents and translate to test procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong teamwork.
- Travel up to 50%; commitment to safety in active construction.
