📋 Description

• Review new and renewal business from referrals.
• Approve or deny bind requests.
• Review property inspections and loss reports.
• Handle phone calls and inquiries from agents and referrals.
• Analyze market conditions for coastal commercial insurance.
• Make risk decisions using underwriting tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting procedures.
• Ability to interpret data and make risk-based decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with brokers/agents.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Insurance industry designations preferred.
• Experience with insurance software and MS Office.
• Customer-service oriented; able to work with minimal supervision.
