Commercial Refrigeration Technician

📋 Description

• Lead complex refrigeration service and installation projects; mentor junior technicians.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency preventive maintenance, checks, leak detection, and troubleshooting.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, refrigerant management equipment, and electrical testing instruments.
• Communicate findings to customers and ensure EPA/local code compliance.
• Document work, parts usage, refrigerant tracking, and maintenance reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Commercial refrigeration expertise required.
• Strong understanding of rack systems, defrost, superheat/subcooling, electrical troubleshooting.
• Read refrigeration schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems (Danfoss, Emerson, CPC, RDM).
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy equipment, climb rooftops, walk-ins, varying temps.
• Willingness to work after-hours, weekends, overtime, rotating on-call shifts.
