Commercial Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across the business.
• Develop and improve legal processes, policies, templates, and training to scale.
• Provide legal, regulatory, and strategic guidance to teams from project start to launch.
• Efficiently manage outside counsel to support projects.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore, APAC and international laws for AI.
• Build positive relationships across the company and with external partners.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (LLB/LLM/JD) and admitted to practice in Singapore.
• 8+ years in law firms or in-house; tech/AI in-house experience a plus.
• 5+ years in-house at Tech/AI firms across Asia-Pacific.
• Hands-on public sector contract negotiation experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including form templates.
• Generalist with ability to tackle problems outside core expertise.
